Our Vue developers build applications with Vue 3, the Composition API and Nuxt, and help teams move from Vue 2 before it becomes a security and hiring problem.
Tell us a little about your requirements and our team will get back to you.
IDOWS Apex is a software engineering company in Lahore, Pakistan that provides Vue.js developers on a project, dedicated-developer or dedicated-team basis. A Vue.js developer builds user interfaces with Vue, the progressive JavaScript framework, writing single-file components and managing application state, and often extends into Nuxt for server rendering or into a Laravel backend through Inertia.js. Clients interview each developer before they join.

Build a teamWhen to hire Vue.js developers
There is no single rate for Vue.js developers. Cost depends on the seniority you need, the engagement model you choose (adding developers to your team, a dedicated team, or a fixed-price project), how long the engagement runs and the scope of the work. For Vue.js work, the biggest drivers are whether a Vue 2 codebase must be migrated and how many of its dependencies lack Vue 3 versions, whether server rendering through Nuxt is required, and how tightly the frontend is coupled to a Laravel or other backend. Share your requirements and we will come back with a quote for your situation.
You tell us the technology, seniority, role and team structure you need. We recommend Vue.js developer profiles that match those requirements, and you review the profiles and speak with the engineers yourself before anyone joins your team. When you interview, the areas worth testing are reactivity with ref, reactive and computed, and common reactivity pitfalls; extracting reusable logic into composables; designing Pinia stores and deciding what belongs in global state; planning a Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration, including third-party dependencies; handling server rendering and hydration mismatches in Nuxt; and component testing with Vitest and Vue Test Utils.
It depends on which engineers with the right skills are available when you get in touch, so we do not publish a fixed start date. Availability is part of the conversation when we recommend profiles, and the start date is agreed with you before the engagement begins.
Because you interview the engineers before anyone joins, fit is tested before work starts. If concerns come up once the engagement is running, raise them with us directly. How changes to the team are handled is set out in the terms you agree with us at the start.
A freelancer suits small, well-defined tasks you can manage yourself. A dedicated developer joins your team under your direction. A dedicated team adds several roles around your product, and a project-based team delivers a defined outcome end to end.
Vue 2 reached end of life on 31 December 2023, so it no longer receives official security fixes or browser compatibility updates. Applications keep running, but dependencies gradually drop support and vulnerabilities go unpatched. Planning the move to Vue 3 now costs less than a rushed migration after a security audit or a broken dependency.
Audit dependencies first, since Vuex, Vue Router and component kits each have their own upgrade path. The official migration build lets a Vue 2 app run on Vue 3 with compatibility warnings that can be fixed incrementally. Moving from Vuex to Pinia and from webpack or Vue CLI to Vite is often done alongside.
Both are supported in Vue 3. The Composition API, usually written with script setup, groups logic by feature and makes reusable composables easy to extract and type with TypeScript, so it suits larger applications. The Options API remains fine for simple components, and existing Options API code does not need rewriting.
Pinia is the officially recommended state library for Vue 3. It drops Vuex's mutations, has a smaller API, works naturally with the Composition API and offers much better TypeScript inference. Stores are modular by default and integrate with Vue DevTools, so debugging state changes stays straightforward.
When pages must be indexable by search engines or load quickly on the first visit. Nuxt adds server-side rendering, static generation, file-based routing and data fetching conventions on top of Vue. Internal dashboards behind a login usually do not need it and can run as a Vite-built single-page app.
Very well. Inertia.js lets Laravel controllers return Vue page components directly, keeping routing, authentication and validation on the server without building a separate API. For teams already fluent in Laravel, this gives a modern single-page experience while keeping one codebase and one deployment.
It depends on the product. Vuetify offers a complete Material Design component set, Quasar adds tooling for targeting web, mobile and desktop from one codebase, and headless components paired with Tailwind CSS give full control over styling. The choice follows your design requirements and how much customization is needed.
